High School Credit Recovery

Credit Recovery is important for students to remain A-G eligible which allows students to access a 4 year university upon graduating.  Students enrolled in the Credit Recovery program received a "D" or "F" in an academic class and wish to remediate the grade.

Students in this program will utilize APEX Learning online to recover credit. The APEX Learning platform allows for students to conduct a pre-assessment and only complete the modules that they have not yet learned. LVUSD content teachers will be on hand to provide academic support to students. Once students have passed the course and have recovered their credits, they do not need to attend any more days.  They also have the opportunity to complete more than one course within the June 17th to July 25th window based on their individualized needs.

Please note: Students are recommended and selected for the credit recovery program by the high school counselors.

Classes begin on June 17th at 8:30 AM. Please note that daily synchronous teacher check-ins will be required and daily progress toward completion will be closely monitored by their instructor. Students are expected to work asynchronously for an average of 4 hours per school day. Students who miss more than 2 days of attendance will be dropped from the program.

Credit Recovery will be offered virtually this year.
