Daily Bulletin for Tuesday, October 29, 2019

CLUB NEWS: The Ballroom Dancing club will meet today in the gym; there is a new club starting up next week – on Mondays, the Dungeons and Dragons club will meet in the choir room.

ATTENTION 8th GRADERS: Tomorrow, you will be taking the PSAT.  You should have received a packet of information last week telling you in what classroom you will be testing. On Wednesday morning when the first bell rings, you will report to your testing classroom, not your usual homeroom.  If you aren’t sure where you’re testing, please check in the AP office before Wednesday morning. Periods 5 & 6 will be the usual for all grades.

ATTENTION 6th & 7th GRADERS: Due to PSAT testing, some of your classes may be held in a different room on Wednesday. Please make sure you’ve made a note of any classroom changes to your schedule.

ATTENTION 6th GRADERS: Your rescheduled party is tomorrow!  You can still buy a ticket at lunch today or tomorrow.  The party starts at 12:30, right after school, and ends at 2:00. Make sure your parents know to pick you up at 2.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: All this week we are celebrating the drug-free life with Red Ribbon Week. Show you have the power to not do drugs with your best superhero costume and today at lunch you can “Punch Out Drugs!” Tomorrow, give drugs the boot in your western gear – hats, flannels, boots, bandanas and jeans. Then come to the stage at nutrition for the Stomp Out Drugs Balloon Stomp.

ALSO, STUDENTS: The All-Star soccer make up tryout day is today.  Make sure to bring cleats and shin guards.  Meet at the upper field at 12:00.

PLUS, STUDENTS: There will be no after school tutoring in Mr. Birnbaum’s room today.

FINALLY, STUDENTS: Every year, A. C. Stelle students donate their extra Halloween candy to Operation Gratitude, which gets the donated candy to men and women serving in the armed forces overseas. If you have extra candy, bring your donations to Ms. Grantham in room E218. Let’s see if we can set a new record for how many pounds we donate to this worthy cause!

REMINDER, STUDENTS: Tomorrow is a Staff Collaboration Day; dismissal is at 12:30.
