Daily Bulletin for Tuesday, October 22, 2019

DID YOU KNOW: Today is National Color Day! It is hard to imagine the world without color. Color is powerful. It can affect a mood, draw attention and even cause alarm.  Without color, we would be nearly blind; doctors check for health through the color of a patient’s skin; leaves changing from green to vermillion signal a change of seasons; the street light turns from green to yellow to red, letting us know when it’s safe to proceed. All these colors play important roles in the world.

ATTENTION 6th GRADERS: There is a very special event for you this week! On Friday, you get your very own party, with music, pizza and prizes.  Tickets will be on sale this week, during lunch. You won’t want to miss this!

ATTENTION 7th GRADE CATALINA CAMPERS: There are meetings for you and your parents this week.  The parent meeting is tomorrow evening at 7:00, here in the MPR, and your meeting is Thursday at lunch in the MPR.  Make sure your parents know about their meeting.

ATTENTION 7th & 8th GRADERS: All Star Soccer is coming! If you would like to play on the All Star soccer team against AE Wright and Lindero Canyon Middle School, online sign ups start this week.  Tryouts will be Thursday.  Practices are at lunch and the two games will be after school.  Ask Ms. Mettler if you would like to find out more information.  All 7th and 8th grade boys and girls are welcome to sign up but priority will go to 8th graders.

To sign up go to the school website or http://bit.ly/2MthWmj.
