Assistant Principal of Curriculum - Mrs. Goldstein

I am delighted to continue serving the families, faculty, and staff of my alma mater, Calabasas High School. Last year was such a great year as Dean of Students, and this year I am deeply honored to now be the Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction at CHS. After attending LVUSD schools from K-12, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education, with a Minor in Communications, from Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils!). Afterward, I attended Pepperdine University, where I earned a Masters of Education with an Emphasis in Instructional Leadership. While attending Pepperdine, I taught general education classes, but quickly realized my passion for special education, which was then confirmed upon joining the LVUSD family in 2007. I taught special education for 10 years, transitioned to the role of a case manager for our moderate/severe population, and then joined the CHS administrative team in 2019.

When I’m not at work, I spend most (all) of my time with my three children. My oldest son, Jackson is entering first grade at Chaparral Elementary, and he will be joined by his twin siblings (Conor and Emma), as they begin their LVUSD journey in TK at Chaparral, too! During quarantine, our family, along with our 17-year-old dog, enjoy hiking, swimming, and going to the beach. Needless to say, once quarantine is over, I look forward to weekends filled with soccer, basketball, dance, gymnastics and music classes!
