I hope that this message finds you healthy and well and enjoying these beautiful early days of summer.
As mentioned at the end of the school year, LVUSD will be offering the choices of both on-campus and virtual education options for our families. My leadership team is working with our faculty and staff to design both models to be adaptive to the unexpected circumstances that may arise as the pandemic evolves over the coming months.
As we plan to reopen our physical doors, we are sourcing and ordering cleaning supplies, personal protective equipment, and other materials that will keep our staff, students, and families safe. We are working on protocols for cleaning, distancing, and physical movement in consultation with a team of local health professionals.
To keep our community informed throughout the summer, our leadership team will be hosting webinars at 4:00 PM on June 22nd, July 7th, July 30th, and August 4th to address frequently asked questions. We will maintain archives of the webinars for those who cannot attend live. My team is working to respond to the questions you have sent since launching our virtual academy. The webinars, along with all updates, can be found at LVUSDUpdates.org.
We look forward to bringing our students back onto our campuses this fall. More information will be shared in the coming weeks. Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
