A Welcome letter from our Principal Mr. Foli

Due to the Governor's new order in combination with State and County Public Health, we are now all starting school online. This was not the information that any of us wanted to hear, but unfortunately, with the rising numbers of COVID-19, our district has had to make this difficult decision. The safety and wellness of our staff, students, and community is our number one priority.

Please know that we all recognize the benefits of students participating in on-campus learning. There is nothing I want more than to see our staff and students back on campus every day. Our district has invested in a significant number of safety and health upgrades for our campus; such as distance markers, plexiglass in the main office and health office, extending the health office area, temperature stations, a thermal scanner, sinks in all rooms, and much more.

Located in the beautiful hills of Calabasas, Lupin Hill Elementary School is the wonderful home of 500 students.  Lupin Hill Elementary School, a California Distinguished School, National Blue Ribbon Award Winning School, and a Title 1 School, is proud of our students and the high academic achievements that have been attained by our students.  We are proud of the diversity of our student population having over 30 different languages spoken at Lupin Hill. The highly involved families, PFC and outstanding staff share common goals and high expectations for academic achievement and excellent behavior.

This strong collaboration between the families and the school staff has provided many enriching opportunities to ensure the development of well-rounded children.  Students benefit from specialist teachers in the areas of, music, science, physical education, and technology. Being a Title 1 school has given us both a full-time and part-time Intervention Specialist to meet the diverse needs of all our students. Students participate in violin, chorus, and after school enrichment programs. Weekly Friday morning assemblies give students' pride in their school and get them excited to learn.

We are very excited about our two brand new amazing facilities, and an extended parking lot. These improvements include 6 beautiful classrooms, a counseling room, 44 new parking spots, and a new Multiple Purpose Room that includes a teaching kitchen.

Many of our events such as grade level musical performances, mystery readers, Student Council, Peaceful Players, Morning Mile, and author visits challenge students and integrate performance and classroom learning.  Students are acknowledged for  achievements and character development at monthly Caught Being Good Extra Recesses, and through other programs on our campus.  Students, staff, and parents work together to create a remarkable learning community. We thank you for your support of our school and our mission.
