As I excitedly start my 12th year in education, I am entering the 20-21 school year with the motto: Do all things with flexibility and kindness. I began my career in LVUSD as an English teacher at both the middle and high school levels. While teaching English, I supported and mentored new teachers throughout the district. In 2017, I accepted a position as the Credential Programs Coordinator where I worked closely with our leadership team to develop and launch the Center for Educational Excellence which currently offers three credential programs that supports teachers, coaches and administrators who are developing in their practice. I am deeply passionate about helping all educators grow their craft to best support student success. I hold a Bachelor degree in English Language and Literature and a Master in Education with an emphasis on service learning.
I grew up in LVUSD and graduated from Calabasas High School. I am married to a wonderfully supportive husband, and we have two daughters (a 5 year old and 2 month old) and two wild pups who fill our lives with beautiful chaos and joy!
