LCMS Enrollment Information - 2019-2020 School Year
NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT
ENROLLING FOR THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR:
For parents enrolling their student(s) at Lindero Canyon Middle School (and live within the school boundary) for the 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR:
If you have recently moved or are moving to the area check HERE to see if we are your home school. If so, please contact our Registrar Julie Mohr - 818-889-2134 for enrollment information. If we are not our home school, please contact your home school.
If your child CURRENTLY ATTENDS an LVUSD elementary school, even if you are on a permit:
You will NOT need to enroll online or bring your child to enroll. Contact your elementary school office staff to confirm at which middle school your child will automatically be enrolled. If you would like to apply for a different middle school within LVUSD, you must complete a School of Choice permit HERE. Applications received after February 1st will be on a case by case basis.
If your child NOT DOES CURRENTLY ATTEND an LVUSD school, you will need to:
(1) Click HEREto begin online enrollment. ONLINE ENROLLMENT MUST BE SUBMITTED AND COMPLETED BEFORE YOU CAN MOVE ON TO STEP (2).
(2) After the online enrollment is complete, you will receive an email stating that we are "awaiting forms". You will need to bring the required documents and forms to the Registrar on an Enrollment Day listed below. Your child will need to accompany you at the Enrollment Day, as they will take a Math Placement Test. Our Registrar, Julie Mohr, will be in touch by email to schedule you and your student for one of our enrollment day.
- Required documents - See attached and Proof of birth, proof of residence, immunization records, parent's driver's license or passport, and most recent report card MUST be presented on Enrollment Day.

In addition to the mandatory Math Placement Test, Honors Tests are available.
Students can take Honors Tests for Language Arts, Social Science, or both. Information about the Honors Program and testing can be found on the LVUSD Honors Page. Honors testing will be Monday, June 17th and Tuesday, August 13th at 11 AM. Parents will need to bring copies of the student's last report card and latest state testing results with you on the testing day.
