A Message From Principal Anhalt
Dear Lindero Canyon Middle School Families,
Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year. I am the principal at Lindero Canyon Middle School.
In my 15-year career in the district, this is my third assignment at LCMS.
I began my career in our amazing district as a special education teacher right here at LCMS. After also teaching at Calabasas High School, I earned my administrative services credential and became an Assistant Principal at Calabasas High School. I eventually returned to LCMS for a second stint to serve as Assistant Principal.
I left LCMS three years ago to pursue my first principalship at White Oak Elementary School. I look back on that experience with a great deal of pride in terms of what we accomplished. Among many other things, our team at White Oak earned The California Gold Ribbon Schools Award and The California School Board Association’s Golden Bell Award; fewer than 1% of schools in the state of California have earned both. In addition, the Los Angeles County Office of Education recognized White Oak and LVUSD with a 2017 Award of Excellence for our specialized programs.
In addition to being a Lindero teacher and administrator, two of our children attended this amazing school and one is still here, so I have the perspective of an LCMS parent as well. Our family has been 100% satisfied with our experience at LCMS, and my goal is to have 100% of our families equally satisfied with their experience.
I am looking forward to seeing families and students from our community, and meeting new ones!
Please feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions. I am truly honored to be in this incredible community.
Mr. Eric Anhalt
