New Student Enrollment - What to do AFTER Online Enrollment

Online Enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year will be available on March 1, 2020.

For parents enrolling their student(s) at AE Wright (and live within the AE Wright boundary) for the 2019-2020 (CURRENT) SCHOOL YEAR:

If your child DOES NOT CURRENTLY ATTEND an LVUSD school, you will need to:
(STEP 1) Click HERE to begin ONLINE ENROLLMENT. ONLINE ENROLLMENT MUST BE SUBMITTED AND COMPLETED BEFORE YOU CAN MOVE ON TO STEP 2.
(STEP 2) After the online enrollment is complete, you will receive an email stating that we are "Awaiting Forms". You will need to bring the required forms and documents listed below to the AE Wright Counseling Office before your child is considered enrolled. Contact Krissi Povah in the Counseling Office at kpovah@lvusd.org to set up a day and time to bring them in.

Your student will take a Math Placement Test on the day that you bring in the documents. Parents must stay on the AE Wright campus while the test is administered. The Math Placement Test is a timed 50-minute test.

REQUIRED FORMS/DOCUMENTS TO BRING WHEN YOU COMPLETE ENROLLMENT:

1 * Proofs of Residence (required for Residents and those on a School of Choice Permit. NOT REQUIRED for those on an Interdistrict Permit):
One (1) of these: Property tax bill, Mortgage statement, or Signed Lease Agreement
Two (2) utility bills: Gas, Water, and Electric bills are the only utility bills we accept.

THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL STUDENTS:

If your child CURRENTLY ATTENDS an LVUSD school, even if you are on a permit:
You will NOT need to enroll online or bring your child to AE Wright to enroll. Your child will automatically be enrolled in their assigned middle school. Contact your Elementary School office staff to confirm at which middle school your child will automatically be enrolled. If you would like to apply for a different middle school within LVUSD, you must complete a School of Choice permit HERE.

There are optional GATE and Honors Tests available for your child to take. You must have completed Online Enrollment (Step 1 above) before your child can test for GATE or Honors classes.

All GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) testing occurs at the LVUSD District Office. More information about GATE can be found on the AE Wright GATE page and the LVUSD GATE page.
