  • Important Message - March 13, 2020

    Dear Families, Thank you for your continued patience, flexibility, and kindness as we enter this uncharted territory together. After extensive conversations with the Board of Education and state and local health officials during the past 24 hours, we have made the decision, out of an abundance of caution, and concern for the health and well-being of our students, staff, and our entire broader community, to close our school facilities for a minimum of two weeks beginning Monday, March 16 and lasting through through March 27th.

  • Important COVID-19 Update - March 12, 2020

    Dear Parents, As I shared in my communication yesterday, the Board of Education and I, along with the entire district leadership, are actively monitoring the fluid nature of the coronavirus outbreak across the United States and more specifically here in California. While there are no active cases of COVID-19 in LVUSD, we want to do our part in limiting contact and stopping the spread of the virus in the coming days. Given this, LVUSD is deploying plans to ensure our community is both prepared for the likelihood of long-term disruption and is protected from the virus.

  • New Campus Safety Procedures

    Over the course of the last few months, the Las Virgenes Unified School District has worked with law enforcement, renowned safety experts, and site principals to develop protocols and procedures that are aligned for ensuring student safety. In an effort to keep all students safe and adhere to our LVUSD Closed Campuspolicies, we will implement a new pick up procedure at Willow beginning Monday, August 27:
