Laura Kintz

Laura Kintz has served as the Principal of Willow Elementary School since 2016.  She brings with her a total of ten years of experience as an elementary principal, four years at Willow and six years at Alberta Rider Elementary School in Oregon.  Prior to serving as an Elementary Principal, Ms. Kintz was an elementary school teacher for fifteen years and has taught 1st through 5th grades.  In addition, she also served as a Reading Coach for five years.  Ms. Kintz has earned widespread respect from LVUSD elementary teachers and brings with her tremendous strength and experience in leading and coaching staff and fellow administrators as an instructional leader.

Ms. Kintz received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Oregon University, and went on to receive her Master of Arts degree in Teaching, Reading Endorsement, and a Principal and Professional Administrator License from Lewis and Clark College.  Dr. Dan Stepenosky, Superintendent of Schools, shared, “Laura is an experienced and thoughtful leader who will help support our amazing elementary schools.  In the past few years, she has earned great respect as a visionary, a capacity builder, and an instructional leader.  We are thrilled to have her in this new position supporting the students and staff of our nine of our elementary schools.”
