The New Year is a great time for a new book. Reading books stimulates children's imaginations and expands their understanding of the world. It also helps students develop language and listening skills, which prepare them to better understand the curriculum. Our Winter 2017 #LVReads Edition (attached here) offers some great suggestions for students who want to keep learning over the break. In this list, we offer four book selections for students in each of our reading categories ranging from beginning reader to young adults. We also highlight books that promote a "Positive Mindset," one of LVUSD's Student 360 goals
