Interdistrict Incoming Permit Information

Principal

This permit is for families who reside outside of LVUSD boundaries
and wish for their student(s) to attend a LVUSD school. Many LVUSD
schools are at full capacity. While we will make every effort to
accommodate your request to enroll at a specific school, we will
also ask that you select a second choice, in the event that your
preferred school has reached capacity.

 
How do I apply for an Interdistrict Incoming Permit?

LVUSD is no longer accepting permit applications. If you would like to be notified if space becomes available, you may add your students name on the "INTEREST Request Form CLICK HERE". (this is NOT a permit application request)

  1. CLOSED Fill out a 24-25 Interdistrict Incoming Permit Application HERE between October 1st and March 1st. 
  2. Submit required documents if applicable.
  3. Wait for a decision from LVUSD. 
  4. Follow the instructions on the permit decision.
  5. If approved, enroll HERE 
  6. Obtain an Outgoing release from your Home District (not school) within 30 days of the LVUSD approval.  (You can find more information on how to obtain a release below.)
  7. Email the release to LVUSD’s District Office at permitinfo@lvusd.org.
