• Assistant Principal:

    Ms. Smith

    Greetings Eagles, Staff, and Family,

Welcome to A. C. Stelle! I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself as the Assistant Principal of A.C. Stelle. My name is Nicole Smith and I am very pleased to join the A.C. Stelle community. I am eagerly looking forward to meeting the staff, students and families.

Here is a little bit about myself: I am a graduate of California State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Math, a minor in Business Administration, and a teaching credential. Post graduation, I relocated to San Jose, CA and taught for four years at a middle school. During that time, I earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and returned to Southern California where I taught three more years at a junior high school.

Throughout my teaching career, I remained involved in both academic and extracurricular activities.  Academically, I participated on the Curriculum Council and School Site Council at both schools. I also had the opportunity to mentor my colleagues and other fellow staff members. As an extracurricular commitment, I was privileged to bond with my students while serving as the coach for the junior high girls’ basketball and soccer teams. I deeply valued those experiences as they provided me a thorough understanding of what it means to be a middle school student and what kind of support systems students need in order to be successful at school and for life beyond their K-12 years.  With that being said, I am very excited to work with you, the A.C. Stelle community, to make the school year not only wonderful but memorable.

As excited as I am to introduce myself to you through this letter, it is the face-to-face interactions that I value most. I look forward to meeting and collaborating with staff, parents, students and the community here at A.C. Stelle. Meanwhile, please do not hesitate to contact me as it is my goal to be available to you.
