Welcome Future Cougars to Lindero Canyon Middle School! 

We are proud of the education Lindero offers our students.  Lindero’s faculty and staff are committed to excellence in education and making LCMS a great place for kids to go to school!

Sixth grade is an exciting year for students.  A primary goal of the middle school is to provide students with a smooth transition from the elementary school to the high school. Students will learn to deal with multiple teachers, changing classrooms, increased homework and rigor.  Lindero Canyon students take a required academic program in Language Arts, Social Science, Mathematics, Science and Physical Education. Students will also have the opportunity to select an elective. 

Middle school is a time when students must be taught to become responsible and independent young adults.  In an effort to assist with this, please plan on having very limited communication with your child during the school day, including text messages and phone calls.  All students forget their homework from time to time.  Dealing with the minimal consequences of that is an essential experience in their development of becoming a responsible and independent student.
