THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR

Disney's Beauty and the Beast 

Congratulations to all of the students who auditioned for this years production of Beauty and The Beast. It is going to be a great show and a lot of fun.  We have a lot to do to get this production done and we look forward to working with all of you! The cast list has been posted under the "Cast List" tab.

Starting Wednesday, October 10, we will be on the regular rehearsal schedule:

Full Cast (EVERYONE ATTENDS):

Mondays 3-5:30 PM

Wednesday 1:40-5:30 PM

Tuesday and Thursday will be for selected principals who are asked by Ray to attend. These rehearsal will be from 3-5 PM.  They will start sometime in November.

Students should bring the following to rehearsals:

-pencil, script, snack/water botle, comfortable clothes for movement, a positive attitude!

MOST IMPORTANT PART OF REHEARSAL IS TO PICK UP YOUR STUDENT ON TIME.  I can't stress this enough.  The adults at rehearsals need to get home or to other obligations which are just as important--but we can't leave your student at school unattended!  If you are late, we have to wait. Therefore, please please please be on time to pick up your student.

STUDENT SNACKS--PARENT HELP NEEDED

We set up a sign up genius to ask parents to bring a simple snack to help the kids.  We are doing it different this year and only asking for snacks to be provided on WEDNESDAY.  Please access the link https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C094AACAD22A7F58-snack to sign up!  We ask for every parent to help if they can.  For Monday rehearsals, please pack an additional snack for rehearsal!

REMIND TEXT

You will get an invitation to join our REMIND text app. You can sign up by texting 81010 and texting @lcmsbat to join our class.  I promise only important messages will be sent by me (change of pick up times or reminders to bring things to rehearsal etc).  If you message back, it only comes to me.

PARENT EMAIL LIST

I have only put "parent #1" from the registration form on the email list.  If you would like "parent #2" to be included on the email list, please email me at lcmstheatre@gmail.com and I will add them.

MISSED REHEARSALS

Please email me at lcmstheatre@gmail.com or send a REMIND message to me to let me know if your student is going to miss rehearsal.  Please try as much as possible to avoid scheduling appointments on Monday's and Wednesday's.  The rehearsals are much more productive if the full cast is there to learn blocking of dance numbers and acting scenes.

REGISTRATION:

If you did not register on line or you still need to turn in your forms/payment, please do so by Wednesday.  You can give them to the office or bring them to the rehearsal.

TECH STUDENTS:

If you are doing tech please come to rehearsal on Wednesday 10/10/18 so we can get you started  helping with the production
