How to sign up for testing?

Complete the GATE Online Application Form by clicking the following link: GATE Online Application Form. 

After families complete the form,  current LVUSD 5th grade students will be assessed between the months of October- December, by our school psychologist at their home school site.  Acceptance letters will be mailed after winter break.

Important Information About Middle School Matriculation & Enrollment in GATE at AE Wright:

If a student's current 5th grade school placement matriculates to AC Stelle or Lindero Canyon, instead of AE Wright, it is mandatory to complete and submit a School of Choice Permit (within the permit window of November 21, 2022- February 1, 2023) in order for a transfer to be approved and for the student to participate in the GATE Program.  This permit request is not binding. It can be accepted or voided at a later date, should the student not qualify for the program, or it is decided GATE would not a good fit/student would prefer to continue to their prior school placement.

The 2023-2024 Permit Window opens November 21, 2022 and closes on February 1, 2023.
