Hey Ladies! Powder Puff sign-ups are happening now! Packets can be found in room K-4, the AAC or on the
ASB website. The deadline to submit a packet is October 1st . The game is on Friday, October 5th, from 6:00 –
9:00pm on the stadium field. You will receive spirit points for playing or attending. Uba Tuba and Fire Island
will be there. Be sure to sign up before the spots fill up. We look forward to seeing you all there.

This Friday Night at 5:45 pm will be the Honor Society Academic Tournament. Form your team and
compete against other students. Open to all. You do not need to be an honor society member to sign up.

Hey Sophomores! Coming up next Monday and Tuesday, we will be having apparel pre-sales at lunch in the
Main Quad. Bring $10 and your ID! See you there!
This Friday, September 21st is the last day to purchase a Homecoming Ticket! Ticket prices are $30 with
ASB and $35 without. You may purchase your tickets through the end of lunch on Friday in the AAC or until
Midnight on the school webstore. Also, if you are bringing a guest who does not attend AHS, you must submit
a Guest Pass to the Attendance Office no later than the end of lunch on Friday. Guest Passes are available on
the school website.

If you have dropped or changed classes, please return the textbooks you are no longer needing to the
Media Center. Be sure to check-in the textbook at the circulation desk so you will no longer be responsible for
Are you tech-savvy and enjoy helping others with their cell phone, iPad, and social media questions? On
the first three Tuesdays of each month, the Senior Genius Club meets from 3:30-5:30 pm in the Media Center
to help community members troubleshoot tech issues. This is a service learning opportunity here on the AHS
campus. Students will have the opportunity to get 2 hours of community service per session. Please see Mrs.
Smart in the Media Center to sign up. A mandatory training session is afterschool on Sept 25th for all students
who are interested.
Agoura High School received a Silver ranking on the 2017 U.S. News and World Report list of Best High Schools! The 2017 Best High Schools rankings awards the top 6,041 public high schools with gold, silver and bronze medals, indicating their level of college readiness. U.S. News evaluated more than 28,000 public high schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Five hundred public high schools received gold medals, 2,109 took home silver and 3,432 received bronze in the national rankings.
