LVUSD Names Nicole Smith as Assistant Principal at A.C. Stelle Middle School The Las Virgenes Unified School District (LVUSD) Board of Education and its leadership team are pleased to announce that Nicole Smith has been selected as the new assistant principal of A.C. Stelle Middle School in Calabasas, effective July 1, 2018. Ms. Smith has a Bachelor degree in Math and her teaching credential from Cal State San Bernardino, and earned her Masters in Education at Fort Hays State University. She comes to LVUSD from the Alta Loma School District where she has been a middle school math teacher for the past three years. Ms. Smith is involved with students beyond the classroom. She has been a teacher mentor, the Math Department Chair, and the School Safety Ambassador Group Leader. She also served on Curriculum Council and School Site Council, and as the assistant coach for girls basketball and softball. Before teaching in Alta Loma, Smith taught middle school math in San Jose. As an assistant principal, Smith looks forward to assisting in the personal and professional growth of staff and students. "I am thrilled to have Nicole Smith joining the Stelle team,” said Ryan Emery, Principal of A.C. Stelle Middle School. “Her role as an advocate for students and peers, combined with her experience in the classroom, will help support the A.C. Stelle community.”
