ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: The wait is over…the Step-it-Up Event is today!! If you earned a trip to the event, you will receive a wristband in homeroom this morning. Also, while you’re at the event, you will receive the other prizes that you earned. Sixth graders: you will go to the Event after homeroom and attendance, and stay until the end of 2nd period; then continue on with your regular classes. Seventh & Eighth graders: you will go to the Event during 3rd and 4th periods, but must first report to your 3rd period class and check in. Each group should wait for the announcement before heading up to the upper field, and all participants should take your backpack with you up to the field.
ALSO, STUDENTS: Our annual food drive for the Family Rescue Center in Canoga Park continues this week! It’s also our last homeroom contest. For every 10 items your homeroom brings in you will earn 1 point. You can earn up to 15 pts! The contest is VERY close in each grade and anyone can take the lead and win the trip to the beach next month -- it all depends on how many items you bring in for the Food Drive. A Leadership or Eagle Service student will be coming to your homeroom at the start of every day this week, so check the flyer of requested items, and bring in that food!
PLUS, STUDENTS: Lunch time intramural basketball sign-ups will continue today. Come one, come all and sign up in the ballroom on the MPR stage. Games will start after Spring break!
