Hello Eagles! The 6th grade Honor Society and 7th and 8th grade CJSF Application drive starts Friday, February 3rd! The application can be found on the front page of the school website and on the Honor Society website. All applications must be submitted by Friday, February 10th, at 4 pm. Contact Ms. Kargari in F214 if you have any questions.
6th and 7th graders, it is time to choose your electives for the 2023-2024 school year. Please click on Read More+ for links to the descriptions of your electives choices.
If you are interested in the Leadership or Eagle Service class electives for next year, you need to fill out an interest form. Click on Read More+ for the Google form and information about the process.
Any 6th or 7th grader interested in being in Honors History Social Science classes next year will have to fill out this Google Form before February 7th at 3:30 pm. Click on Read More+ to access the form. If you are currently in Honors history, you do not need to reapply.
There will be an International Baccalaureate (IB) Information Night on February 7th at 6:00pm in the AHS PAEC for families who want to know more about the program. Remember, if you are an ACS student, you must apply for a school of choice permit to attend AHS. The permit window closes on February 1st.

Thursday, February 16th, there will be a PFC Zoom meeting at 9:00 am. Please join us at our monthly meeting with our Principal, Assistant Principal, and counselors. Our special guest will be CHS's principal Aviv to discuss high school with 8th grade parents.
These are the dates of school holidays for this school year: Winter Break 12/23-1/6. Monday, 1/16: Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Monday 2/20: President's Day. Spring Break 4/3-4/7. Monday 5/29: Memorial Day. Wednesday 6/14: Last day of school!

CLUB NEWS: The Creative Writing club will meet today in Ms. Kargari’s room, F214; the Book club will meet today in Mr. Miller’s room E102. Plus, we have a new club starting tomorrow – the Chess club will meet in Mrs. Granata’s room, E212.
ATTENTION 6th & 7th GRADE STUDENTS: If you are interested in taking Honors History Social Studies next year, the application window is still open. The application is due no later than tomorrow at 3:30pm. In addition to turning in the application, you will be required to submit a writing sample. Please see the application for more information and how to sign up for the Google Classroom to see your essay prompt. Incomplete or late applications/essays will not be considered for the class. If you have any questions, you may email or stop by and speak to your current HSS teacher.
PLUS, 6th & 7th GRADERS: If you are interested in being a part of Leadership or Eagle Service next year, the application window is still open. The application is due no later than tomorrow at 3:30pm. Incomplete or late applications and students who do not attend the interview will not be considered for the class. ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Honor Society and CJSF enrollment for all graders is still open. The Google form link is on the A. C. Stelle homepage and the Honor Society website. It is your responsibility to fill out this application while logged into your school Google account. If you’ve been in CJSF before, you must reapply for admission, based on your most recent semester grades. Fill out the grade-appropriate Google form application before 4:00 pm this Friday, February 10th. You have all this week to get this done, so NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED!! If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Kargari before the deadline.
ALSO, STUDENTS: This Wednesday is our last basketball game, this time it’s at A. E. Wright. The girls’ game starts at 2:45 and the boys’ starts at 3:30. Please come on over to A. E. Wright and support your team. Go Eagles!
FINALLY, STUDENTS: This Friday is another homeroom contest – it’s Jersey Day! Help your class earn a fun field trip in May by wearing gear from your favorite youth, local, high school, college or professional sports team.
REMINDER, STUDENTS: This Wednesday is a Staff Collaboration Day; dismissal is at 12:30.
