Most colleges require applicants to take either the SAT or ACT. Some also require SAT Subject Tests. The SAT focuses on critical reading, mathematics, and writing. The ACT focuses on English, mathematics, reading, and science, with an optional writing test (the writing is mandatory for most colleges).
For more information on the SAT and for sample test questions, go to www.collegeboard.org.

- ASVAB Practice Test
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test is a required test administered to anyone interested in enlisting in any of the US Armed Service branches. Minimum scores must be met in order to be able to enlist as well as to qualify for certain jobs within the service. This site provides free practice tests for all categories of the ASVAB so those interested in joining the military can get a sense of the questions they will expect to see on the ASVAB.
