Dr. Ryan Gleason
Assistant Superintendent, Administrative Services
Dr. Gleason has over a decade of experience as a K-12 administrator in the United States. Having worked as a change leader at the site, county, and district office levels throughout southern California, he offers a unique perspective about preparing the whole-child for college, career, and life-readiness. In addition to his role as Assistant Superintendent, Ryan oversees the Las Virgenes Center for Educational Excellence, which offers a continuum of learning opportunities for teachers and administrators for over fifteen school districts in the state of California. Ryan received his Doctorate in Global Education from the University of Southern California. His dissertation focused on developing principal leadership and administrator efficacy and longevity in K-12 systems.
Mission: Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services oversees the planning, development, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of programs for all aspects of student services including programs for students with exceptional needs, child welfare and attendance; and counseling services. Directs and supports the development and implementation of PK-postsecondary teacher and leadership development programs. Responsible for the supervision of principals. Oversees the Center for Educational Excellence (Center EdX) and leadership development. Develops and coordinates school and District Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS). Administers all federal and state categorical programs.
