LVUSD is dedicated to creating responsible digital citizens by addressing 21st century issues with students and our community. Each year, we host parent information nights for both elementary and secondary parents. These informational meetings help parents answer questions about how to keep their students safe in today's wired world. They also provide a way for parents to see how our schools are dealing with these important topics.
All students in grades J/K-10 receive lessons on cybersafety and digital literacy. Teachers and students use the resources from our dedicated website, LVUSD Digital Literacy, to discuss important issues in the classroom.
Secondary school students attend informational assemblies presented by the Lost Hills Sheriff Department's J-Team and other guest speakers.
