    Interested in being in Battle of the Spartans for the 2023-2024 school year? If so, you must complete the application below

    7th and 8th grade deadline---Friday, February 24th by 3:30 pm

    The Battle of the Spartans course strengthens students' skills in multiple disciplines:

    • language arts
    • social science
    • math
    • science

    Students compete against other students, schools, and communities in a variety of academic competitions. They experience and practice teamwork & camaraderie, and build a strong sense of community while improving discussion techniques, problem-solving strategies, and creativity. While all students will participate in practices, individual students will find an area of passion and strength on which to focus, thus building confidence and gaining valuable experience in an area of interest.

    *Students find and research the contests themselves.  Practices and preparation take place during class.
