Agoura High Senior Sara Passantino Saves A Life!
Agoura High School Principal Brian Mercer shares a touching and heroic incident involving AHS Senior, Sara Passantino: "Last week, Sara was working her normal shift at the Agoura Hills Recreation and Event Center when her co-worker came up to her in a panic.  She could not speak and was frantically trying to get help from someone.  The fellow employee had been in a rush to leave and ate part of a cucumber, which got lodged in her throat."
The Carnival Is Here!
JOIN THE FUN!  The Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools is welcoming all families back-to-school with The Carnival on September 11-13th at Whizin Market Square in Agoura Hills. Admission is FREE and everyone in the community is welcome.  The Carnival includes exciting rides for all ages and fun games with fantastic prizes. Carnival hours are Friday 6pm-11pm, Saturday 12pm-11pm, and Sunday 12pm-11 pm.      
LVUSD Leadership Team Welcomes New Administrators
The start of the 2015-2016 school year welcomed eight new administrators to the LVUSD leadership team.  Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Daniel Stepenosky commented, “This is an exciting time and presents a unique opportunity to infuse new energy and ideas district-wide. I am thrilled to welcome these individuals and confident their outstanding reputations, varied instructional experiences, and diverse leadership skills will provide a great foundation to successfully implement best practices for our students, staff and families.”
