fifty three clubs, drama presentations and a musical, an award-winning
instrumental music program, yearbook, school newspaper, and a highly competitive
interscholastic sports league. Volunteering within the community is strongly
encouraged.
Agoura High School is on a new schedule which includes a “0”
period and a Student Support period prior to classes that meet every other
day for 100 minutes. The “block” schedule has been very effective
in increasing the hands-on experiences of our students in lab-oriented
classes and has allowed faculty to expand instructional strategies for
critical thinking in the classroom. The new “0” period has
allowed the school to offer an optional seven period day. The Student
Support period offers academic help for all students.
