Introduction

Agoura High School is situated in Los Angeles County just west of the San Fernando Valley. The area is a suburban, residential, high-income community. Students are from the incorporated cities of Westlake Village and Agoura Hills as well as the unincorporated area to the south in the Santa Monica Mountains. Parents are mainly employed in the professional, executive, business, art, and entertainment fields. The school, which serves grades 9-12, received a full six-year accreditation in June of 2002 from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
