In honor of Earth Day, LVUSD will hold Waste Free Lunch Week and we are hoping for 100% participation. The district is proud to do our part to reduce landfill waste (LVUSD’s Green Initiative) and ask that you partner with us and your children to make small changes that will have a big impact! Waste Free Lunch will become a way of life next school year, and we will promote this green initiative with Waste Free Lunch Week! April 24 – 28th.

CLUB NEWS: The Mindfulness club will meet today in room F117; the Jewish club will meet in E212; the Model U. N. club will start meeting on Mondays as well as Thursdays, starting today, in room F207. Please get a hall pass from the AP office.
ATTENTION 8th GRADERS: This year’s culmination program cover will be designed by one of you! Any 8th grader who would like to submit a design is highly encouraged to do so. Students may enter as many designs as they wish. Your teachers received a green instruction sheet with the requirements for your design. Your submissions must adhere to the requirements, and are due to the AP office by May 2nd. If you have any questions, please come to the AP office.
ALSO, 8th GRADERS: This is a reminder that your panoramic picture will be taken this Friday during 4th period. You will go to your class as usual and wait for instructions. And don’t forget that Friday is a short day.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: This Wednesday and Thursday we will be on block schedule for testing. Wednesday, you will go to your odd period classes and Thursday you will go to your even period classes. Both days will be full days, with dismissal at 2:35. You can find more information about the bell schedule on the A. C. Stelle website. Also, this Friday is a Staff Collaboration day; dismissal on Friday will be at 12:30.
ALSO, STUDENTS: There will be no after school tutoring in Mr. Birnbaum's room today or tomorrow.
